At the age of 11,

Tim’s once-normal life took a sudden turn as mysterious symptoms emerged without warning.  Despite seeking medical help, he encountered a maze of misdiagnoses and dismissals, leaving him to navigate the turbulent waters of uncertainty alone.

Episodic Ataxia, a genetic disorder affecting balance and coordination, became the invisible adversary that haunted Tim’s every move.  From dizzy spells to debilitating episodes, his days were marked by a relentless struggle to maintain control amidst a sea of unpredictable triggers.

Through the years, Tim faced isolation, ridicule, and despair, grappling with the profound impact of his condition on his mental and emotional well-being.  Yet, amidst the darkness, glimmers of hope emerged as he embarked on a quest for answers and acceptance.

With unwavering determination, Tim confronted the challenges head-on, refusing to let Episodic Ataxia define his destiny.  Despite the setbacks and frustrations, he found solace in self-discovery and resilience, embracing life’s complexities with courage and grace.
